The Calm Plate Method

Less pressure. More understanding. A calmer approach to food.

The Calm Plate Method is an 8-week health and nutrition coaching program for families of autistic and neurodivergent children who struggle with selective eating, limited food variety, sensory challenges, and stressful mealtimes.

As a health and nutrition coach, trainer, and mom raising an autistic child, I created this program because I understand that feeding a neurodivergent child isn't as simple as knowing what they should eat. Sensory preferences, routines, food rigidity, and overwhelm can make mealtimes challenging for the entire family.

A major part of the Calm Plate Method is food chaining—starting with foods your child already feels safe eating and using similarities in taste, texture, shape, color, or presentation to create opportunities to gradually explore new foods. We don't take away safe foods. We use them as our starting point.

Throughout the 8 weeks, we'll work together to understand your child's eating patterns, create calmer and more predictable mealtimes, support food exploration without pressure or shame, and find realistic ways to improve nutrition using foods your child already accepts.

With more than 10 years of experience in fitness, nutrition, and behavior change, I also bring a health-coaching approach to the program—supporting the parent, identifying barriers, setting realistic goals, and creating sustainable changes that work for your whole family.

The goal isn't a perfect plate. It's less stress, more understanding, and realistic progress—one small step at a time.
